Our culture tells us, “You are enough.” Scripture gives us something far better: you were never meant to be sufficient in yourself. Does God owe us anything? Or do we believe He has no claim over our lives? In Psalm 50, God steps into His courtroom as the righteous Judge and calls two defendants before Him. Who is your King? Every person crowns something. Success, comfort, money, politics, family, or even themselves.
